Danube Group’s operation are dominated by two segments, Danube Building materials and Danube Home (Home Interior/Decor solutions) which brings together a variety of state-of-the-art products available at multiple showrooms across MENA region. The company has recorded a turnover of AED 5.4 Billion in the year 2015 and has been listed in Forbes middle east.
Purchasing process of Danube was quite complex involving multiple workflows and the entire process was carried out in a Web Application. Sales person should access the Web application to get Product information, price of the products and to check stock availability across showrooms. This resulted in lack of customer engagement and the dependency to check the system every time. The other challenge is that since Danube is into credit business, they wanted the sales team to have some mechanism to track the balance payments and assist them in providing instant quotations.
Impiger helped Danube build a Point of Sale tablet application integrated with their Oracle which had the provision to display the product and stock information which helps sales team to take key business decisions.
The Point of Sale application is equipped with functionalities such as Add to cart, Invoice creation, Digital Signature, choosing delivery options and sharing the invoice with Sales manager for approval on discounts and promotions.
Native Android & iOS Mobile application helps the sales team in generating quotes and managing credit sales business.
