Aiding a Globally Ranked Insurance Pioneer Regulate Content and Upkeep of the Organization’s Intranet
The client is an end-to-end insurance solutions company in India with global recognition, offering an extensive range of general insurance products across a wide network. The client’s previous vendor helped them with content management of their intranet until advancements were made to their platform.
The Need Statement
The client's business stakeholders were seeking a more efficient vendor to help regulate/manage digital content and maintain their general intranet portal having made vital upgrades to the existing technology. They needed a new vendor to aid in enhancing performance, usability and design of their existing intranet, as the previous vendor was unable to keep up with the pace and expectations. Also, seamless integration into the improved platform was key.
Impiger Technologies with experience in development, migration and management of SharePoint based intranet portals was able to liaise with the Corporate Communication team to upload content on a schedule, bettering the correspondence with stakeholders. The intranet portal was enhanced by UI enrichments improving not just the content but as a means to interact with other teams too. Features like Kudos and Awards & Ceremonies helped the organization appreciate team achievements. Other features include exchanging wishes and commenting on the members’ common wall, reinforce a sense of community and improved employee engagement.
